The 2010 season of the Owasso Farmers' Market is in full swing!
Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to noon and Wednesdays from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Find us at the Owasso YMCA.  If you know Owasso, it's on the service road between 76th and 86th Street North. For your GPS, the address is 8300 N. Owasso Expressway.

This Saturday, July 24 - Annual Salsa Contest:  Mix up a batch of your award-winning salsa and bring it out to the farmers' market to see how it stacks up against the competition.

Contact us at OwassoFarmersMarket@yahoo.com to let us know what kind of salsa you'll be entering--hot, medium, or mild traditional salsa or non-traditional salsa.

This is always a big hit.  People love trying different salsas, so bring out your best!

The Owasso Farmers' Market now has a full variety of meats.  We have all natural chicken as well as hormone-free beef, pork, and lamb. Visit Mike at Bryant Farms' Purely Chicken and Nancy at Blakley Family Farms to select your high-quality meats.

Of course, you will still find the usual variety of seasonal vegetables--a nice variety of tomatoes; banana, jalapeno, and bell peppers; lettuce; squash; various beans;  greens; potatoes; cucumbers; garlic; and more.

Plus we have delicious chicken, fish, and vegetable coatings; Porter peaches; cut flowers; plants; hand-made jewelry and rosaries.

To keep up on market news, sign up for the newsletter.

~May the ripeness of our peaches
and the purity of our heirloom tomatoes
